Savage Sword (Concept)

LilMe_SmallGIF.gif (3678 bytes) I don't often post stuff like this, but here's the concept thumbnail I did for Savage Sword.  This was taking some small pencil sketches of the primary figures and then using digital ink to sketch out the creatures and composition. 

While the final version didn't end up with harsh shadows, I like the effect of the thumbnail, and think it makes an interesting piece on its own.  I'd like to work in this ink-sketch style again, but possibly try to approach it as a finished piece in and of itself.
