LilMe_SmallGIF.gif (3678 bytes) For this piece I wanted to invoke an art nouveau style and apply it to the world of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom.  Originally I was going to just have one figure, (the sitting one) but liked the idea of combining two figures into one composition.  The original drawings came from figure drawings (Link), and a sketch I did for a con a few years back.
