Pen and Inks
Once upon a time I dabbled in pen and inks. I moved to digital
inks for the Soul Chaser Betty graphic Novel, and left the traditional
stuff behind. But recently I decided to get back into it and began
practicing with new pens (mostly Microns now) in the hopes of getting
my chops back up and learning something new. Taking what I (re)
learned, I began to experiment with more traditional techniques, and
even got myself a new set of dip pens. Ahh, the memories those
brought back.
Older Pen and Inks
Tolkien's books changed many a young fantasy lovers life, and mine was no different.
Many years ago I decided to try my hand at pen and ink, and although I never
came even a hairs breath close to the modern masters like Wrightson, Frazetta, Vess or
Gianni - I had a good time.
These inks are from 1995.
